Mini-lesson — Celebrating Readers

Every reader grows step by step. Today we pause to look back and smile at how far you have come!

In Level 1 reading, you:

learned many sounds and words
read stories with characters and settings
read informational texts with real facts
did reading projects like logs, covers, and book talks

On Reading Celebration Day, we:

look back at what we learned
share favorite books and facts
feel proud of our reading growth

When you celebrate your reading, you are saying, “I am a reader, and I am ready for Level 2!”
